Physician- Neurosurgery

MetroHealth Medical Center’s Department of Neurosurgery (DNO) is recruiting a full‑time Neurosurgeon. The position will focus on complex spine, neurotrauma, and general neurosurgery. As an academic institution, MetroHealth serves as a teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Residents and fellows are trained on site, and all staff hold faculty appointments at CWRU. Experience with academic duties such as teaching and research is encouraged. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Perform complex spine, neurotrauma, and general neurosurgical procedures. Provide patient care and clinical supervision of residents and fellows. Participate in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Engage in clinical research and bench research as desired. Qualifications Board certified or eligible for neurosurgery certification. Licensure in the state of Ohio. Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and teaching skills. Experience or interest in complex spine and neurotrauma preferred. MetroHealth is an equal opportunity employer.
