Residential Counselor (Mon-Fri 4:00PM to 12:00AM) Location: IBHS - Residential - IRP South - Ancora, NJ (60 Laurel) Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Position: Residential Counselor Job Summary Under the supervision of a House Manager, Assistant House Manager, Program Supervisor, or Program Director, the residential counselor serves as a member of the Residential Program staff, providing support and instruction to residents of the assigned site. Essential Functions Provides support services, including daily living skills, life skill development, supportive residential counseling, transportation, etc., as needed by each resident. Supports and assists residents in weekly program schedules and outside activities. Maintains the security and safety of the residents and the facility. Participates in the development and implementation of the Individual Recovery Plan for each resident. Communicates, in written and verbal form, assessments and observations of consumers to other treatment team members. Maintains accurate and current client documentation according to accrediting standards. Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED plus four years of related work or life experience (experience related to job duties must be clearly documented). LPN license plus two years of related work or life experience. Combination of one or more years of college plus related work or life experience equaling four years. RN license. Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university plus one year of related work or life experience. Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university, in mental health, health, or other appropriate human services discipline. Licenses/Certifications Needed Valid driver’s license is required. Employment Details Salary: $39,520 per year, eligible for a sign‑on bonus. Schedule: Mon‑Fri 4:00PM to 12:00AM. Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt. Weekly Work Hours: 40 hours.
