Objective of the Position

To be a cross-domain technical reference, ensuring that the platform evolves with a coherent, scalable, resilient, and operable architecture.

The role is not focused on being the fastest programmer on the team, but on improving the quality of technical decisions for the entire organization, solving complex problems, and elevating the technical capacity of multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Cross-domain architecture: leading decisions on microservices boundaries, APIs and contracts, event-driven architectures, sync vs. async communication, data ownership, consistency, idempotence, retries, backpressure, resilience, security, and observability.
• Resolution of ambiguous problems: taking on poorly defined problems, investigating, structuring constraints, comparing alternatives, explicitly stating trade-offs, and producing actionable recommendations.
• Technical mentoring: elevating the capacity of Platform, Development, VoIP, and Data managers without becoming the executor of all solutions.
• Technical standards: defining lightweight and reusable standards for APIs, events, observability, health checks, timeouts, retries, documentation, ownership, deployment, and technical decisions.
• Design & Architecture Reviews: establishing lightweight RFC/ADR mechanisms and technical review that improve the quality of decisions without generating bureaucracy.
• Technical supervision of contractors: evaluating technical proposals from external teams, ensuring their alignment with the internal architecture, and facilitating a sustainable transfer of ownership.
