Azure Cloud Engineer
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Azure development and cloud solution architecture, with the ability to design, build, and support scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based applications and integrations. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and deploying scalable and reliable applications in a cloud environment, leveraging Azure. The candidate will also develop interoperability between cloud and on-premises environments, as well as new cloud-native functionality based on agreed design. Additionally, the role involves participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including design, analysis, documentation, development, and testing. The candidate will architect and create cloud-based systems integrations, conduct root-cause analysis, and propose corrective action plans as needed. They will also create and maintain relevant technical documentation.
Required qualifications include strong hands-on experience with C#, strong experience with Microsoft Azure, design, develop, and maintain Azure Functions using C#, build serverless, event-driven workflows using Azure triggers and bindings, implement and manage Azure Service Bus topics and queues for distributed applications, implement structured logging and telemetry using Azure Application Insights, work with Azure Blob Storage for file ingestion, archival, lifecycle management, and secure access, develop solutions using Azure SQL Database, and apply Azure security best practices, including Managed Identities and Key Vault integration.
Recommended qualifications include 7+ years of hands-on application development experience, strong Azure development and cloud solution architecture background, proven experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions, experience integrating cloud and on-premises systems, experience working in Agile environments, strong written and verbal communication skills, and being highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
