What We Need: We are looking for a part-time news writer and producer for iHeart Media's 24/7 News operation in Phoenix. This is an in-house position and cannot be done from a remote location. This position requires very deep attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Must be willing to work nights, weekends & holidays. What You'll Do: Primary responsibility will be writing and editing news content for the 24/7 Newswire. Cover Breaking News on a local/regional/national level. Post content (text & audio) to various platforms for affiliates. Other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: The ideal candidate can make quick decisions and work in a very deadline-oriented environment. An extensive background in editing and content creation is required. Must be skilled and highly proficient with coverage of breaking news and overall newsroom management.
