Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Portland, Oregon
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Emergency Room (ER) is needed to support short term acute care services. Responsibilities include delivering emergency care for a diverse patient population, charting in Epic, and maintaining readiness to float within the facility based on unit needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week; weekends required every other weekend.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Charting: Epic required (specific charting experience required)
  • Education/Degree Requirements: Not specified
  • License Requirements: RN license required (must be brought on the first day)

  • Pre-defined weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

  • Orientation hours: 12.
  • Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
  • Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD).
