Entry-Level Engineer OpportunityMead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing strong, sustained growth – and we're expanding our team. We have an exciting opportunity available for an entry-level engineer who is eager to launch their career and contribute to impactful infrastructure projects.The preferred location is Daytona Beach.Responsibilities include:Preparing civil/environmental engineering design documents for municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects that support growing communitiesAssisting with analysis and preparation of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits and designs for projects across full project lifecyclePreparing design computations, quantity/cost estimates and construction documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailVisiting project sites during design and construction for design data collection and verification to gain valuable field experienceMay serve as onsite project representativeMay attend client meetings and collaborate directly with experienced engineers and project teamsSome travel will be requiredThe successful candidate will have:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering (or closely related field) from an ABET accredited college or university or within six (6) months of hireThe ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:Previous relevant internship working on civil/environmental engineering projectsEIT certificationProficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D softwareExperience with Revit and ArcGISExperience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project softwareHydraulic and/or hydrology, Water Gems, SewerCAD software experience would be a bonusMead & Hunt proudly offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program.Mead & Hunt will not sponsor a visa (H-1B, etc.) for this position.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
