Travel Oncology Registered Nurse

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Oncology Registered Nurse to deliver specialized cancer care across partner hospitals and clinics. In this role, you’ll administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, manage central lines, monitor complex symptoms, and respond to oncologic emergencies. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, evidence-based practice. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications per protocol Perform ongoing oncology-focused assessments and monitor for treatment side effects and complications Manage central venous access devices and IV therapies safely Respond to oncologic and treatment-related emergencies using evidence-based practices Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR accurately and timely Adhere to infection control, safety, and chemotherapy handling standards Adapt quickly to new hospital settings, policies, and workflows as a travel nurse Support a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care and professional integrity Key Skills Oncology nursing Chemotherapy administration Central line management Patient assessment Symptom management Electronic health records (EHR) Patient and family education Care coordination Infection control IV therapy Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Qualifications Active RN license Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred BLS certification ACLS certification Chemo/Biohazard agent certification Ability to travel and work variable shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
