Shepherd Hospice LLC is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Certified Nurses Assistant to provide compassionate, high-quality support to patients and families in an inpatient setting in our Southaven, MS location.

The Inpatient Certified Nurse's Assistant is responsible for delivering direct patient care and supporting the interdisciplinary care team in maintaining comfort, dignity, and safety for individuals receiving hospice services. This role plays an essential part in ensuring patients receive consistent, responsive care throughout their inpatient stay.

In addition to assisting with daily living needs, the Inpatient Certified Nurse's Assistant monitors and reports relevant changes in patient condition to help guide timely care decisions. The position is full-time and onsite in New Albany, MS.

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures.

• Monitor patient status and report concerns or changes in condition to the nursing team according to established protocols.

• Support infection prevention practices and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and visitors.

• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and basic supportive care to promote comfort and reduce risk of injury.

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and follow all care plans and facility procedures.

• Current certification as a Nurse's Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification recognized for clinical practice.

• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with nurses and other team members.

• Comfort with hands-on patient care, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care tasks.

• Willingness to work full-time onsite in New Albany, MS and follow facility schedules and protocols.

• Prior experience in hospice, inpatient care, long-term care, or a similar clinical setting.

• Demonstrated ability to respond calmly and appropriately in emotionally sensitive situations with patients and families.

• Familiarity with basic clinical documentation practices and attention to detail in recording care activities.

• Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team focused on comfort and quality of life.
