Electrical Engineer

Job Duties

Electrical Engineer. Lind Electronics LLC. Minnetonka, Minnesota. Responsible for working with engineers, technicians, and production to drive the design and development of rugged power solutions for mobile electronics. Support engineering team with testing validation of designs and troubleshooting. Apply knowledge of multiple power design topologies, such as buck/boost, flyback and forward converters. Support design documentation (schematics, firmware, BOMs, assembly drawings, etc.) for new products. Participate in team engineering design reviews. Assist with customer returns and troubleshooting any potential field issues. Support technical team with development and testing of prototype EVT units. Continuously develop knowledge of existing and new product lines and the ruggedized mobile power industry. Work cross-functionally with teams on a variety of design and development activities related to product line. Salary: $96,480.00 per year. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely-related degree. 6 months of experience in any position involving hardware design. 6 months of experience with designing PCB layouts and troubleshooting. Demonstrated programming experience with C or lower-level programming languages. Demonstrated experience with ECAD software such as Altium. Demonstrated understanding of power electronic designs. Experience may be gained in any post-graduate educational or employment experience. Work from home available one day per week within normal commuting distance to the Minnetonka Headquarters. Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely-related degree.

Minimum Experience Required

6 months of experience in any position involving hardware design. 6 months of experience with designing PCB layouts and troubleshooting. Demonstrated programming experience with C or lower-level programming languages. Demonstrated experience with ECAD software such as Altium. Demonstrated understanding of power electronic designs. Experience may be gained in any post-graduate educational or employment experience.
