What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations) Experience & Qualifications Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of operating room experience required. (Note: Labor & Delivery experience alone is not applicable). Specialized Skills: Must have Neuro and Ortho/Spine experience . Trauma center and general ortho experience are preferred. License & Certifications: Active Texas RN license (or compact) and BLS required. Clinical & Unit Overview Unit Details: Surgery unit featuring 7 OR suites with an estimated 1:1 patient ratio. Night shift staffing includes 1 RN and 1 CST. Procedures Performed: Ortho, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology. Charting & Equipment: Meditech EMR with various surgical equipment. Scheduling & Facility Policies Call Requirements: Call requirement is about 1 day a week and one weekend a month (approx. 10 days per month). Dress Code: Change into hospital-provided scrubs each day.
