When you join our team, you're not just starting a job—you're joining a company built on heart and grit.Position Summary:As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you play a critical role in supporting First Farmers Bank & Trust's mission of delivering exceptional financial services and fostering strong community relationships. This position is responsible for analyzing and monitoring credit worthiness of the bank's commercial/ag clients. Analyzes financial statements, tax returns and bank references to evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank. Recommends credit lines within the established bank guidelines. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate financial historical spreads and pro-forma cash flows. Prepares spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for financial officers on new, renewal and existing loansVerify that loans will meet the required underwriting criteria for requested loan productPerform credit inquiries and analyze credit reportsAnalyze loan data on new, renewal and existing loansAssemble loan presentation packages for loan committeeAttend and participate in loan committeesMaintain loan committee minutes and submit monthly report to the Board of DirectorsMonitor loan policy exceptions and provide data for reporting to the Board of DirectorsProvide technical advice and assistance to loan officers as neededProvide back-up assistance to other loan officers as neededAll other job duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum QualificationsResponsible to the AVP Commercial/Ag Credit Department Manager for the fulfillment of duties assignedExperience in Finance, Banking or related field preferredGeneral banking knowledge, specifically in the commercial/ag lending area would be helpfulBasic computer skills and an attention to detail and accuracy requiredMay be called on from time to time to participate with community organizations and community projectsWork EnvironmentPrimarily office or branch-based environment with standard business hours.
