Get to Know Your Team UT Health Henderson features 41 operational beds, a 24‑hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility with surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound healing center and an AASM‑accredited sleep center. Responsibilities Work under the general supervision of the clinical director (MD, DO, or PhD) or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Provide polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care, and education. Perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide oversight of other staff. Qualifications Job Requirements: Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography. OR Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one‑year duration associated with a state‑licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility of equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician. Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements A minimum of 1 year experience as a Polysomnographic Technician with documented proficiency in all required competencies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
