Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a long-term care or nursing home environment. This position involves delivering essential nursing services, assisting with patient management, and ensuring smooth operations within the facility.

The LPN will work a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with an expected arrival time of 6:30 AM for shift preparation and handover protocols.

All requests for time off must be submitted prior to contract confirmation. Unlisted time off will not be approved.

The LPN will be required to utilize the Cerner charting system for documenting patient care effectively. A paper timecard will be utilized for tracking hours worked.

A 30-minute lunch break will be included in shifts. If a lunch break is not taken, it is the responsibility of the LPN to notify the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager for necessary documentation.

The LPN is required to wear royal blue or white scrubs, with the option of white lab jackets as needed. Please note that uniform costs will not be reimbursed by the facility.
