Corporate Accountant

Century Group's client is looking for a Corporate Accountant. You will be responsible for perform general accounting tasks within the Accounting Department. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Support monthly closing activities and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  
  
• Assist with daily banking and treasury operations.
  
  
• Help prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
  
  
• Collaborate with industrial engineers to maintain and verify product costing in SAP.
  
  
• Create financial closing journal entries as needed.
  
  
• Participate in various accounting functions, including AR, AP, GL, inventory, and costing.
  
  
• Support team members and external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits, preparing audit schedules as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting.
  
  
• Proficiency in relevant systems and applications, with a general understanding of all accounting areas.
  
  
• Good mathematical and analytical skills.
  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and capable of learning new software.
  
  

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
  
• 2 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and auditing.
