Material Handler

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Material Handler positions in Gastonia, NC . Responsibilities:

• Receives product by unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or by hand.
• Ensure shipments received are in good condition and accurate by: inspecting freight for damage and signing freight
  bills
• Ensures all required products have verified bar code labels and readable Johnstone stock numbers by scanning products, printing labels, resolving labeling discrepancies, and completing necessary paperwork.
• Fills orders by picking products, packing items into cartons, stacking them in a manner that minimizes damage, entering items into scan gun, and completing necessary paperwork.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Wearing all required personal protective gear (hardhat, steel toe boots, ear plugs, eye protection) throughout the day

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
