Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

AdventHealth Redmond is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our nationally recognized program in Northwest Georgia. The ideal surgeon would have a strong Cardiac skills with an interest in thoracic surgery and program development with the ability to maintain a cardiac surgery mix. Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of adult cardiothoracic procedures, including CABG and valve repair/replacement (thoracic interest a plus)
• Help lead and grow our thoracic program throughout our Georgia market
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, pulmonologists, and critical care physicians
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible through the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
