Job Description

The Deli Manager / Prep Cook is responsible for overseeing daily deli operations and food preparation while ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with safety standards. This role involves managing a team of 11-20 employees, maintaining inventory, and fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste
Supervise and lead a deli team of 11-20 employees
Prepare food according to established recipes and quality standards
Conduct quality control to maintain product consistency and presentation
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet operational needs
Train new and existing staff on procedures and best practices

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service
