Sanitation Associate

Sanitation SpecialistRole: To ensure sanitation routine and cleaning schedules are completed daily in a manufacturing & warehouse environment.Shift: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm. Must have reliable transportationEssential Job Responsibilities:The following duties are general and particular to this position. Responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the business.Adherence to the cleaning schedule for assigned areas throughout the bakery.General cleaning of all dirties in the dish room using combination of machine and or 3 bay sinks.Ensure different areas of the plant are cleaned by mopping, sweeping, wiping, etc.Assist production staff with breaking down of lines and cleaning up projects as needed.Responsible for the exterior cleaning of machinery as scheduled.Completion of assigned deep cleaning task to ensure plant is audit ready.Task may include scrubbing, and sanitizing walls, floors, baseboards, staircases, ovens, tables, sinks, drains, trash cans, electric cord reels, etc.Regular emptying of garbage bins following the timeline.Follow all sanitation procedures as outlined by the manager.Clean restrooms, common and office areas.RequirementsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbsAbility to maintain regular punctual attendancePerform job functions in hot and/or cold environmentAbility to stand for extended periodsRequired to squat, reach, bend, pull, push, or be otherwise physically engaged during the shiftGeneral Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Mechanical aptitude: job training providedMultitask and work with a sense of urgencyWork with independence following the daily routine & task listAbility to read English and legibly complete all required paperworkFollow Zaro's safety standards.
