Registered Dental Hygienist

Preventive Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to remove plaque and calculus.

Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive oral screenings, identify signs of gingivitis or oral disease, and update patient medical histories.

Diagnostic Imaging: Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) for diagnostic review by the dentist.

Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques, nutritional counseling, and the importance of preventive care.

Clinical Support: Apply fluoride treatments, dental sealants, and other prophylactic materials to help prevent decay.

Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.

full-time $45 - $50 per hour

Hours: Typically Monday through Thursday (Standard dental office hours; no late nights or weekends required).

• Licensed dental hygienist

• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Licensure: Valid Indiana Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Required).

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.

Certifications: Current CPR certification.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental software (e.g., SoftDent or Eaglesoft) and digital X-ray technology.

Soft Skills: A cheerful, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
