About the Position

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during every procedure, clearly explaining each step with empathy and understanding
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions swiftly
• Document procedures accurately and uphold patient records using the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
