Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
At least 7 years of IT experience as an Application Database Developer
Proficiency with Oracle and SQL, plus knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL database technologies
Strong understanding of relational database concepts, with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Exposure to cloud databases such as AWS RDS or Azure
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
Leadership, organization, and planning skills, including the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and other database objects
Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, and business stakeholders
Deliver database solutions that improve application performance, enable efficient data access, and support enterprise reliability
Review database object performance to address customer needs
Identify and lead improvements across our database portfolio
Resolve complex issues through root-cause analysis and assessment of potential solutions
Investigate slow queries and identify bottlenecks using execution plans
Recommend and implement indexing strategies, and analyze data-related performance issues
Promote Oracle and SQL development standards and secure coding practices
Maintain documentation for database schemas, business logic, and workflows
Participate in code reviews and mentor application developers as needed
Work with onshore and offshore third-party support and application support teams to guide them in ongoing support of database development technologies
