As a Radiology Technician with RSI, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a difference in the lives of patients every day. 4 x 10-hour shifts (0600-1900), 13- week contract. Units: Invasive Radiology Daily Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiologic exams, as ordered by physicians Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while ensuring comfort and safety Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self Review and evaluate images for quality and clarity before submission to physicians Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns to reduce anxiety Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies Required Skills: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as required Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and patient care practices Strong attention to detail and technical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $59.00 an hr ($123,000 per year) to $62.00 an hour ($129,000 per year), along with 401(k) benefits.
