Carpenter

At Scull Construction, a carpenter is responsible for building, installing, designing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different materials, including wood, plastic, metal, and other materials. Follow and understand blueprints and building plans to meet client needs Be knowledgeable in the use of transit Operate equipment such as a gas saw, Bobcat, and forklift Take direction and accomplish duties outlined by your supervisor and ask questions when you do not understand the task Be dependable to your team: You work as a team and progress as a team Assist with all tasks; even it is below your skill level Education Requirements: Job Requirements and Qualifications Minimum of four years of carpentry experience preferred Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and random employee pool drug/alcohol testing Must have personal transportation to and from job sites, including out-of-town work Must arrive on time to job site fit for duty for required shift and have personal protective equipment (PPE) and necessary tools with you. Attend all safety meetings and maintain safe job site practices following company policy Wear and maintain PPE as directed by supervisor and safety team, including but not limited to hard hats, safety glasses, and high visibility vests Willingness to learn and master new tasks, duties, and responsibilities Pay attention to job details to provide an acceptable uniform product Identify and communicate any job site hazards Safely and correctly operate all equipment and manual/power tools.
