Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography (Echo) is sought for a full-time position in a rural healthcare facility located in Waimea, Hawaii. The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound studies across multiple modalities, with a rotating shift schedule that includes day and night shifts, as well as weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage. The position requires candidates to be fully competent in all three ultrasound specialties and to meet certification and experience requirements.

Job Details:

• Location: Waimea, Hawaii
• Schedule: Rotating shift schedule, with a total of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography (ARDMS-registered)
  • Ability to work independently and perform all three modalities proficiently
  • Experience in General, Vascular, and Echo ultrasound procedures
  • Reside within 20 minutes of the hospital when on-call
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • No minimum years of experience required beyond the listed certification and skill set
• Additional Information:
  • Holiday shifts are based on hours worked during designated holidays including New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
  • Applicants must have experience in all three modalities and be fully certified in each specialty
