Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Lake Havasu City, AZ, requiring at least 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency with specialized cardiac procedures and devices.

Details

• Located in a 171-bed, Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center in Lake Havasu City, AZ
• Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma facility
• Cardiac Cath Lab department serving the cardiac patient population
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• On-call required on weekends up to two times per month, with a minimum of 10–12 call shifts per month
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Proficiency with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including IR, PCI, and atherectomy required
• Experience with specialized cardiac devices including Impella and IABP required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the unit
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Lake Havasu City offers outdoor recreation with mountain and lake scenery, and is within driving distance of Las Vegas, Phoenix, the Grand Canyon, and Southern California
