Occupational TherapistMatrix Behavior Solutions is seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team providing the utmost of services to clients in both an individual and collaborative approach setting.Roles/Responsibilities:The Occupational Therapist is responsible for, but not limited to the following:Assessing and diagnosing for children, youth, and/or young adults 2-18 years oldAssessments to be completed in a patient/family centered approachDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans with assuring frequency, duration of services and format of session (individualized, group)Liaising with teachers, family members and other community resources (healthcare providers) as needed to review and discuss client's current level of function and obtain outside referrals as needed in areas of concern.Administering therapy that is client centered in both single and group settingsEnsuring patients and family members are updated and informed of progress, new treatment approaches and carryover tasks for the homeCollaborating with behavioral health team to ensure all parties are updated and involved with client's careComplete assessments, progress notes, and daily treatment notes in a timely mannerParticipate in conferences, continuing education opportunities to keep updated on new advancements in areas of speech and language.Attend monthly meetings with directors to review upcoming events, discuss development, and maintain collaboration in department responsibilitiesQualifications:Individuals who function in this capacity must possess, at a minimum:Must have board certificationMust have PA State Licensure as Occupational TherapistBenefits:Medical, Vision, Dental (up to 80% premium paid by Matrix)Paid HolidaysPaid Time OffLife Insurance401KAs such, we are now offering tuition reduction opportunities for ALL staff levels and their families - just for being a Matrix employee! Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
