About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: 3 years preferred, with at least 1 year in a large Level 1 Trauma center License: State license preferred Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT required; RRT preferred Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience; Epic charting experience preferred; Nicotine-free Description: State license in hand preferred. Licensing may take 6-8 weeks, and start dates will be adjusted accordingly. No overtime until after 48 hours. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. CRT certification is required, and RRT certification is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience is preferred, including at least one year in a large Level 1 Trauma center. First-time travelers are accepted. Previous Level 1 Trauma experience is required. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. The facility is 100% nicotine-free. Candidates must meet the requirement of living more than 100 miles from the facility. No local applicants will be accepted. Professionals can obtain a parking permit, or use daily rate parking. All contracts end on Sunday with a work week from Monday to Sunday. RTO must be included at the time of submission, with no requests during the first week of orientation. Weekend and holiday requirements are unit-dependent. Documents must be submitted 48-72 hours after the acceptance of the offer. The facility maintains a nicotine-free environment.
