Job Details Setting: Emergency Department (ED) / Emergency Room (ER) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Shift: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: August 10, 2026 Location: Wilson, NC 27893 Patient Population: All ages EMR: Meditech experience preferred Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800 to $1,890 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Associate Degree in Nursing required Experience in a fast-paced acute care or hospital emergency department setting Strong teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and adaptability Ability to float as needed based on assignment requirements Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions Assess, monitor, and treat patients experiencing respiratory distress, overdoses, CHF, dialysis-related concerns, hypertension, and other acute diagnoses Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to support timely patient care Maintain accurate documentation and support workflow in the electronic health record Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize care in a busy, high-acuity ED environment Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellent patient outcomes Why Consider This Travel Nursing Job?
