Seasonal Farm Worker

Note: This is a seasonal position at the Wegmans Organic Farm through October 2026, with opportunities for continued employment at a store location. Wegmans Organic Farm & Orchard in Canandaigua, NY offers the opportunity to join a team passionate about sustainable agriculture and growing high-quality organic produce. As a seasonal worker, you’ll work hands‑on in the fields harvesting fruits and vegetables, helping bring fresh, local produce from farm to table while gaining valuable experience in agriculture. Work Environment Work involves prolonged standing and walking with frequent reach, lifting, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The average weight range of items lifted is 10–20 pounds with a maximum weight lift of greater than 50 pounds occasionally. May receive assistance with heavy items, if available. The work environment involves seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather, frequently to constantly. Work involves driving and use of various vehicles and powered and non‑powered equipment.
