The care you provide can shape a resident’s entire day. At Southfield Village, we’re looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who enjoys helping older adults feel comfortable, respected, and supported.

As a faith-based, nonprofit community within Greencroft Communities, we put relationships and quality care at the center of what we do. You’ll work alongside nurses, caregivers, and other team members who understand that great resident care starts with treating people with kindness.

Position at a Glance

• Employment: Full-Time
• Shift: Evening
• Hours: 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
• Location: Southfield Village, South Bend, IN
• Schedule: Consistent full-time hours

Pay & Shift Premiums

Base pay: $19.46–$21.74 per hour

Additional compensation includes:

• +$2.00/hour evening shift differential
• +$2.00/hour weekend differential

What You'll Bring to the Role

As a CNA, you’ll provide hands-on assistance while getting to know the residents you care for. You’ll help with everyday needs, pay attention to changes in condition, and make sure residents feel heard and respected.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities
• Providing attentive care that promotes dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence
• Helping residents prepare for and transition through their evening routines
• Observing residents and promptly reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Working closely with nurses and fellow caregivers to coordinate resident care
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Building positive relationships with residents through dependable, compassionate service

You should have:

• A current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• A genuine interest in working with older adults
• A dependable, caring, and team-oriented approach

• The ability to work respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers

Previous senior care experience is valuable, but what matters most is your commitment to providing thoughtful, respectful care.
