Assistant Branch Manager - Bedford NH

Job Summary Service Credit Union seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to manage employees and resources of a branch office effectively and efficiently within Credit Union policies and procedures. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $73,000 per year, flexible based on experience. Assist in staff selection, training, coaching, counseling, discipline, and recommend promotions or terminations. Maintain exterior and interior branch presentation in accordance with Service CU guidelines and merchandising plans. Ensure highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance. Utilize comprehensive knowledge of all Service CU policies, procedures, applications, and systems. Help meet current fiscal year corporate and branch production goals, including loan production, new members, new checking accounts, credit cards, credit life, and credit disability. Demonstrate professionalism, ethics, and office etiquette and set a positive example for staff. Work with staff to meet and be accountable to established Service Level Agreements (SLA). Adhere to compliance requirements such as physical security, information security, safety, BSA/USA Patriot Act, OFAC, MI, SAR, CTR, and Fraud/Identity Theft. Support branch manager and staff in achieving assigned goals for new member development and cross‑selling Service CU products. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications & Experience Superior working knowledge of all credit union policies and procedures, branch office functions, and duties of all subordinate personnel. Thorough knowledge of current computer operating systems. High degree of skill in leadership techniques and member service duties. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
