Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties in the operating room throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record system
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated ability to circulate in the operating room
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in the Operating Room specialty
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
• Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience, with 6+ months of continuous travel experience leading up to submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical service lines
• One supervisory-level professional reference available upon submission
