· Daily service department scheduling

· Answer phone calls for service department

· Communicate with customers for job schedules (i.e. arrival times and service information)

· Relay important data, equipment history and related information specific to the particular job to service technicians in the field

· Work with the Service Manager in creating operational redundancy for management of the field

· Complete miscellaneous clerical tasks including job and safety compliance documents

· Follow up on requirements for field technicians (i.e. uniforms, license plate tags, PTO forms, etc.)

· During high service demands, assist in drafting quotes for small jobs

· Work with the parts department for acquiring parts for jobs, and lining up necessary deliveries and pickups. This may include coordinating and ordering parts from outside vendors for some jobs.

· Assist Service Manager to track tools and supplies in the shop, as well as in the field; restock supplies as needed and make sure tools are returned.

· Acquire startup paperwork to distribute to technicians. Administering sample bottles for startups, collecting sample bottles when done and shipping them out when job is completed.

· Update procedure books and manuals

· Work with Service Manager to create new procedure manuals and instructional literature for the service technicians

· Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
