This role focuses on providing exceptional care in an acute hospital setting with a special emphasis on cardiac catheterization. Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

• Perform and assist in cardiac catheterization procedures including STEMI, stroke, drain placement, and peripheral angios.
• Read tele strips and titrate drips as necessary.
• Administer and manage IV medications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, including weekdays and weekends.

Requirements of the Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

• Active IL license or proof of license application initiation.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA preferred).
• Previous cath lab experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and Philips monitoring equipment.
• Experience with peripheral angio cases, and interventional radiology and neuro interventions is preferred.
