Tonya Edwards - State Farm Agency in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a motivated, people-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team full-time.


This is an opportunity to build a career in insurance while helping customers protect what matters most. Insurance experience is not required-we are willing to train the right person. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary of $36,000-$55,000, based on experience and licensing, plus commission and bonus opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Contact prospective customers, develop insurance quotes, and present coverage options.

• Build relationships with new and existing customers.

• Follow up with leads and identify opportunities to grow the agency.

• Explain insurance products clearly and help customers make informed decisions.

• Provide friendly, professional service throughout the sales process.

• Work toward individual and team sales goals.

What We're Looking For

• Sales, customer service, or relationship-building experience preferred, but not required.

• Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain one prior to start date.

• Life & Health license, or willingness to obtain one.

• Strong communication and listening skills.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working toward goals.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to build trust and develop lasting customer relationships.
