About The Role As a Talent Partner at Base, you’ll own hiring for the people who power our operations every day: electricians, warehouse associates, drivers, and field employees across our facilities. These hires are the backbone of Base, ensuring our technology and products are delivered, installed, and supported at the highest level. We’re not looking for recruiting experts – just motivated individuals with strong operational experience, attention to detail, and great communication skills. This is an opportunity to help scale a mission‑critical workforce from the ground up. This is an in‑person role based in Austin, TX. What You’ll Do Full-Cycle Recruiting: Lead end‑to‑end hiring for frontline roles, from job posting to offer close Source & Engage Talent: Proactively identify and attract top frontline talent through creative sourcing channels, job boards, trade school partnerships, and unconventional methods (e.g., grassroots outreach, community events, or on‑the‑ground networking) Partner with Hiring Teams: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate attributes, interview processes, and hiring goals Sell the Opportunity: Clearly communicate Base’s mission, culture, and career growth opportunities to candidates at all levels Optimize Recruiting Process: Build scalable, repeatable recruiting processes tailored to high‑volume, frontline hiring that deliver speed and quality Champion Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate, hired or not, leaves with a positive impression of Base Lay the Foundation: Contribute to recruiting playbooks, tools, and metrics to scale Base’s frontline hiring engine What You’ll Bring 3+ years of high‑volume operations experience Experience operating at an early‑stage, high‑growth company or in dynamic, operationally complex industries Excellent communicator with a proven ability to build trust and relationships across stakeholders and community partners Hands‑on, resourceful, and process‑oriented mindset; you thrive in environments where you’re building from scratch About The Team The Talent team at Base is small, lean, and deeply embedded in the business. We operate as true partners to founders and hiring managers, not as a support function. Each Talent Partner owns searches end‑to‑end and has direct visibility into the company’s highest‑priority hiring decisions. We help define the company from the very first conversation with a candidate. We set expectations around pace, ownership, and performance. We help candidates understand the mission and what excellence looks like at Base. And we maintain the standard for who joins the team. Every hiring decision shapes the company’s talent density.
