A dedicated inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available with an immediate start in Alpharetta, GA. This contract position offers a 13-week engagement with the possibility of extension, providing a stable environment for a professional ready to demonstrate expertise in a hospital setting during night shifts.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technician during shift
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient drug therapy
• Collaborate and consult with nursing staff and physicians to address medication-related needs

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Georgia pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong foundational knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations; capable of managing as the sole pharmacist on shift with one technician
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication systems preferred
