Job Title : IT Support Specialist Location : San Francisco, CA 94105 – Fully Onsite Employment Type: Part Time Contract Hours : 15–20 hours per week Compensation : $40-$49/hr Schedule : Saturdays: 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, 1–2 weekday evenings per week: 4:00 PM–7:30 PM Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship . Job Summary Our client, a leading higher education organization, is seeking a part-time IT Support Specialist to provide frontline technical and classroom technology support for faculty, students, and staff. This is a hands-on IT generalist position ideal for someone with 1–3 years of technical support experience who enjoys working directly with end users and is comfortable troubleshooting basic IT, connectivity, printing, and AV issues. The position will average 15–20 hours per week across approximately 2–3 days, with Saturday availability being the highest priority. After an initial training period, this individual should be comfortable independently supporting Saturday operations while knowing when an issue needs to be escalated to the broader IT team. Schedule Saturday shifts are typically 8:30 AM–4:00 PM (approximately 7 hours) when classes are scheduled. Not every Saturday will require coverage. Weekday shifts are typically 4:00 PM–7:00/7:30 PM, with some flexibility based on weekly needs. Weekday hours may be reduced during weeks that include a Saturday shift to remain within the allotted part-time hours. Responsibilities
