Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Acute Care

Location: Baldwyn, MS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 0645-1908. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with options for four days a week or split shifts.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) to join our team. The RN will work in a 100-bed LTAC facility dedicated to providing quality care to geriatric and post-acute patients, including those on tracheostomy support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Long Term Acute Care setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) required.
• Preferably, experience in a facility with 400+ beds or Level 2 Trauma.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Must be willing to float to units within competencies.
