Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental needs and adheres to the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes that enhance overall departmental performance.

• Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers. Accurately documents care provided in the patient’s medical record in a timely manner.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terminology.
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-medical follow-up actions, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.
• Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to surpass quality benchmarks and enhance the exceptional care provided to patients.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to manage the quality of care, coordinating, evaluating, customizing, and delivering a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery.

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.
