Cybersecurity Consultant

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required; a masters degree is preferred
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPM, or CIPP are strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, or advisory consulting, ideally with Big 4 or comparable firms
• Background supporting cybersecurity assessments, risk management efforts, or security consulting engagements
• Experience with technology due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, or private equity environments is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with incident response readiness, vendor risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity and risk frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CMMC, and CIS Controls
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and executive audiences
• Ability to travel occasionally, approximately 5%

• Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor across client engagements
• Support initiatives related to cyber risk, security, governance, and compliance
• Present technical findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other deliverables for technical and executive audiences
• Lead risk assessments, business impact analyses, tabletop exercises, and incident response planning activities
• Partner with internal teams to deliver high-quality consulting engagements
• Assist with proposal development, statements of work, and practice operations
• Help expand and advance our cybersecurity service offerings
• Build and sustain strong client relationships through trusted advisory support
