Overview
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Carlinville, Illinois. This 13-week opportunity starts on 09/07/2026 with a weekly pay range of $2,075 to $2,212 and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is three 12-hour nights (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays, in a hospital setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ER nursing care to acutely ill or injured patients, including rapid assessment and stabilization.
- Perform patient triage, monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures as directed by the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and adjust patient care plans; document care in the electronic health record.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation for patient care and billing; upload all required documentation per onboarding requirements.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control practices; respond promptly to deteriorating conditions and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and professional standards while supporting a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Requirements
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 7 p.m.–7 a.m. with rotating weekends and holidays
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficient in electronic health records and thorough, compliant documentation
- Willingness to complete onboarding documentation and follow billing procedures
