Sign-On Bonus Information

Bonus Opportunity: Up to $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with over 2 years of acute care experience. New graduate RNs may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Note: Eligibility criteria and payout details will be discussed during the interview.

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Emergency Department RNs to join our dynamic team. This role offers:

  • Up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with 2+ years of acute care experience.
  • A $10,000 sign-on bonus for new graduate RNs.

Hourly Wage: $36.00–$49.16

Gross Earnings: $432.00–$589.92 per 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime compensated per applicable laws).

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts available, including days, nights, and mid shifts.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver prompt, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions in a busy Emergency Department. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, prioritizing, and triaging patients based on established clinical protocols.
  • Providing emergency nursing care, treatments, and life-saving interventions.
  • Administering medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitoring patient conditions, interpreting clinical findings, and communicating changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assisting with emergency procedures, trauma care, diagnostic testing, and patient stabilization.
  • Operating and monitoring emergency and life-support equipment.
  • Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Educating patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Promoting patient safety, quality care, and positive clinical outcomes.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • Valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and must remain current.
  • ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and must remain current.
  • PALS certification and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and must remain current.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Facility-Specific Requirements

Depending on the facility, the following may be required:

  • For Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN certification within 12 months of hire and must remain current.
  • For EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric courses 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
  • For non-OB facilities: NRP certification within 90 days of hire and must remain current.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire.
