Material Handler

Location: Cartersville, GA 30121

Required Skills:

• Experience with Quality and/or Quality Control required (must be shown in work history)
• Experience with basic computer functions, MS Office required

Responsibilities:

• Performs quality material inspections against kind, count, and condition.
• Reviews packaging and paperwork to ensure accuracy to contract requirements.
• Records inspection information via manual data entry into computer-based database.
• Works under specific direction of Lockheed Martin personnel.
• Maintains precise inventory records, supports traceability and compliance, and upholds all safety and regulatory standards throughout the handling process.
• Documents and flags non-conforming material.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mostly part-time position. Hour expectation could vary between 15-35 hours but there will be occasions when 40 is available. On site job position, no telecommuting.
• Candidates local to the Cartersville area or within 30 mile radius preferred.
