CNC Programmer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC machine programs to produce high-quality components efficiently. Duties Develop and write CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications using CAD/CAM software. Set up CNC machines, including loading tools, fixtures, and raw materials, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Test and validate CNC programs through simulation before implementation on production equipment. Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming or machine operation promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, modifications, and operational procedures for future reference. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve manufacturing processes and achieve efficiency goals. Skills Proven experience in CNC programming with proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials used in manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately. Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly. Attention to detail with a focus on producing precise and high-quality parts. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members across departments. Nice-to-have skills include experience with multi-axis machining centers, familiarity with automation systems, or additional certifications in manufacturing technology.
