Position Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our Valued Customer Partners all while operating state-of-the-art equipment. This position is a hands-on delivery position that delivers products, completes inventory and product rotation at the customer location, builds trusting relationships with the customer, and operates in a best-in-class 53ft tractor-trailer. This position leaves on Monday and returns on Thursday each week. Hotel expenses and a daily per diem are provided. Class A CDL preferred, or must be willing to obtain Class A with help of Company within 6 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties:

Safely operates a company truck in designated area to provide products and service to a variety of customers. Verifies daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintains proper operator documentation. Manages daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product. Works within HOS and reports challenges to finishing the assigned route within HOS. Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Reviews invoices daily for complete and accurate information and makes corrections as needed. Verifies beginning and ending truck inventory on a daily basis per Beginning and end of day procedures. Meets sales goals and promotes overall route growth to enhance profitability. Understands services, policies, and pricing methods and clearly explains the same to the customer. Monitors customer feedback and handles or reports customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner. Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others. Use safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies. Providing emergency service to all full-service customers if warranted Training store employees as required (This includes but is not limited to making pizzas, cleaning equipment such as ovens and ensuring prep tables are properly stocked.) Assisting and follow up with customers concerning product and equipment problems. Addressing all issues immediately and taking corrective action as needed. Following up to ensure issue has been resolved. Record all product or equipment issues in the handheld under the quality screen. Taking a complete inventory in all stores and annotating it in the handheld. Cleaning up before you leave a store (not leaving tracks with the two-wheeler during rainy weather, breaking down all pizza boxes etc.). Ensuring that the overall appearance of each pizza shoppe meets the standards of Hunt Brothers Pizza. This includes a pizza shoppe that is free and clear from other store merchandise, refreshing marketing material and ensuring the bulbs and displays are operational. In the event the Hunt Brothers Pizza Shoppe fails to meet our standards and guidelines, follow proper procedures for working with store owners in an effort to gain compliance. Assist other Account Managers in running routes as needed in their absence. Checking voice mail during business hours. Checking Hunt Brothers email on a daily basis. Attending Hunt Brothers Pizza Training School and other professional development courses as requested or required. Assisting in keeping warehouse clean and organized. Making daily bank deposits for all monies collected according to policy and procedures. Completing all necessary paperwork required in the timeframe established and sending to the appropriate departments accordingly. This includes all handheld operations and procedures. Freshening promotional material as needed or as obsolescence occurs. Defrost and clean truck as necessary. Attend company meetings as required. Performing other duties as assigned

Typical Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated customer service ability. Must be innovative self-motivated and operate with a sense of urgency. Must maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work flexible schedule, including overnights, Monday through Thursday. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

Supervision: Works under general supervision of the District Manager

Minimum Requirements: Legal Age: 21 years old Education or Equivalent Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

License/Certification Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clear driving record
• Must be able to obtain D.O.T card with one-year certification
• Must have a Class A, or willing to obtain within 6 months with help provided by company.

Travel: Overnight travel required leave Monday and return Thursday each week.

Personal Appearance: Maintain the highest standards of personal grooming and dress for work in a manner that: Reflects an image of professionalism, our concern for quality products and outstanding service Enables interaction with customers, customers, and fellow team members Slacks, skirts, shirts or blouses should be freshly pressed with creases. Clothing must not have tears or holes. Appropriate shoes should be clean and shined.

This is a position that requires "knock your socks off" service as well as the ability to travel between the districts and interact with our customers in the Convenience Store Industry. Some overnight travel may be required with this position.
