Michy's Chino Boricua is looking for an experienced, driven General Manager to lead our team and own the day-to-day operations of our fast-casual restaurant. What You'll Earn * $ 21-$24/hour (OT eligible) * Performance bonus tied to profitability, operations, and guest satisfaction * Health benefits What You'll Be Responsible For Operations * Oversee daily restaurant operations to deliver consistent food quality, service speed, and cleanliness * Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed every shift * Maintain health code compliance and sanitation standards at all times * Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally Team Leadership * Recruit, hire, and train team members and shift leaders * Build and manage weekly schedules with labor efficiency in mind * Coach, develop, and conduct performance reviews for all staff * Foster a positive team culture with low turnover Financial Performance * Own your P&L — monitor daily sales, food cost, and labor * Review weekly reports and make operational adjustments to protect profitability * Manage inventory counts, vendor orders, and supply levels * Minimize waste and ensure portion control compliance Guest Experience * Monitor and respond to online reviews * Keep the restaurant clean, welcoming, and guest-ready at all times What We're Looking For Required: * 3+ years of restaurant management experience * Proven experience supervising and developing restaurant staff * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Hands-on experience with scheduling and labor management * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours * Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Preferred: * Fast-casual or high-volume made-to-order restaurant experience * Familiarity with food cost and inventory management systems You'll Thrive Here If You Are... ✅ Highly organized and detail-oriented ✅ A natural leader who builds teams people want to be part of ✅ Financially savvy — you understand how operations affect the bottom line ✅ Guest-obsessed and committed to a great customer experience ✅ Proud to run a restaurant that performs well every single day About Michy's Chino Boricua Michy's Chino Boricua is a fast-casual restaurant celebrating the fusion of Chinese and Puerto Rican flavors.
