Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – North Dakota

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM; 36 or 48 hours per week available. Call coverage includes 3–5 weeknights per six-week period and 1–2 weekends per six weeks.

Highlights:

• Work in a 16-bay Phase I PACU within a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Care for diverse surgical specialties including adult and pediatric patients post-procedure, as well as ICU, MRI, Oncology, and IR patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 2:1 for optimal patient care
• EPIC charting system, AcuDose medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors
• Opportunity to cross-train and float to Day Unit (pre-post) for phase two patient care
• 13-week assignment with flexible cancellation policy
• Ceil blue scrubs provided

Requirements:

• Active North Dakota or Compact RN License (must be active prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience required
• Pediatric patient care experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• PALS (AHA) certification required
• Critical Care or Intermediate Care Unit experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility (local rates apply for those living 60–80 miles from facility)
