As an In-Home Aide and Companion, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your clients one-on-one, helping them live a healthy, happy and safe life at home. We're looking for PRN In-Home Aides and Companions (less than 20hrs per week) to float 7a-3p, 3p -11p or 7p – 7a with weekend shifts required.What you'll do:Offer companionship by joining clients on walks or accompanying them on visitsAssist and perform tasks delegated by Campus and Home Care nurses to support clients with their ADLs and IADLsAssist Home Care clients with activities such as shopping, transportation to appointments and daily tasks that do not require extensive "hands on" careSupport clients with household management tasks, such as caring for their pets, closet organization, light housekeeping, etc.Communicate changes in a resident's condition to the nurse on dutyMaintain chart documentation, and utilize applicable software to do soAlways practice safety and infection control methodsMaintain confidentiality and privacy of any PHI per HIPAA requirementsParticipate in ongoing education and trainingPerform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisorWhat you'll need:High School or GED equivalent is preferred Must be at least 21 years of age Experience in home care, home health, geriatrics or LTC (Preferred) Ability to travel frequently, with an active driver's license Active CPR certificate or willingness to obtain with six months of joining the team Compensation is $15.00-$15.50 per hour based on experience, plus shift differentials!
